This Samick JS 042 studio model piano is made in Korea, with a cherry wood high-gloss finish.

The quality of design is superb throughout, with resonant soundboard design. Klaus Fenner, one of the world’s leading piano designers, designed the scale, and the high quality Samick playing action. This piano plays and sounds beautifully, with good resonance and tonal qualities.

This is a perfectly sized studio piano for the home or studio location. The piano has been designed to fit into the smallest of available spaces and is fitted with a practice rail mechanism, for quiet playing. The Knight Piano Company was one of Britain’s most recognised manufacturers of high-quality pianos, which are extremely well-made, with only top-quality materials used in their construction.

This K10 is from the ‘K’ range and is the most famous of Knight’s pianos. It is generally considered to be one of the best upright pianos ever produced in the UK.

This ‘Walter Cave’  upright piano is an overstrung 85-note Model IV with a full cast iron frame and internal underdamping. The casework features light shade holders, with working light bulbs, and ornate brass hinges.

The basic nameplate, also of brass, is embossed “C • BECHSTEIN BERLIN •”. The action is light/medium and the instrument has that rich, warm Bechstein tone.

This magnificent upright piano has just arrived with us. It is a medium-sized, special edition with special chrome design features, high-quality Bechstein upright piano.-sized

Broadwood upright piano – Serial No.: 122209 in a rosewood wax finish.

This upright piano comes with an accompanying letter from the Broadwood Archives, which provides an interesting backstory as to where the piano was made, when, and where and how it travelled after the factory to a Belgian dealer ( see photos ).

We are trying to find out more about who might have bought it in the 1920’s. It is back in England for a couple of years ago and is currently in our workshop. The term ‘they don’t make them like this anymore’ applies well here!

Reconditioned and fully serviced in our workhsop and Regulated to new and exquisite touch with original keys. A440 Hz tuning. Light Mahogany veneer with glossy french polished finish. Quite rare this make, in paticular this uncerdamped, overstrung model.
